The Miracle Mindset Every High Achiever Needs
I love being a coach. And I value being coached by a coach.
One of my coaches shared with me *Littlewood's Law of Miracles...* 💫
Littlewood was a famous mathematician at Cambridge University who defined a miracle as a hugely significant event with a one-in-a-million probability of occurring.
Makes sense, right?
Littlewood's Law of Miracles states that in a normal person's life, miracles occur at a rate of roughly one per month.
How is that possible, you ask?
Well, we see and hear things at a rate of about one per second.
If we are actively engaged for eight hours a day, that's about thirty thousand events a day. Or about a million a month.
So, if the chance of a miracle is about one in a million, we can expect an average of one miracle every month...
So-called miracles aren't necessarily supernatural or extraordinary.
When you consider how many things happen in your life daily, it’s statistically likely that something wildly improbable will happen every so often.
[My list is long: Getting and surviving cancer being at the top of the list followed by having twins naturally without IVF]
Ask yourself, ask your kids, ask your closest besties:
"What's a miracle that happened for you today?
After all, if you don't look for miracles, you'll never find them.... 😉
