Redefining Success for High-Achieving Women

Money, titles, and things don’t make you feel successful. It’s what you do that does.

That’s society’s script we’ve been programmed to follow. These are the byproducts of doing what makes you feel successful.

The greatest achievements in my life came after I redefined success for me and my life.

My definition of success is feeling successFULL—full of joy, ease, and impact.

Impact is a big one for me.

That’s now my decision filter: saying no more often, knowing how I want to feel, and being bolder in my asks.

Instead of feeling - overworked, overwhelmed, undecided, unclear, and stuck - Google a list of emotions and pick as many as you like for your definition. This is a powerful exercise that has you focused on you, focused on how you want to feel.

Ask yourself what you were doing the last time you felt these feelings-these are your success clues. Ask yourself what you want to do in the future that would generate these feelings.
