One Piece of Encouragement

1 min read

You were given the gift of your voice.

When I reflect on the times in my life and career when I’ve dragged, fell short, got left behind and disappointed myself, I wasn’t using my voice.

Take up space and own your voice, especially during the toughest of times.

Use your voice to …

Ask questions.

Show compassion.

Give compliments.

Seek understanding.

Share your important point of view.

Bring a new perspective.

Speak to someone who needs you.

Demonstrate a new line of thought.

Bring your expertise.

Leave a mark.

Generate amazing outcomes for your extraordinary goals.

Use your voice to tell your story. No one can tell it better.

When you plan for your week ahead, take a look at where you want to show up on your 'A' game. Decide where your voice will work in service to you.

Keep in mind, when you feel like your voice isn’t being heard or your voice is under appreciated, you have the choice. You have the choice to bring your goodness somewhere else. You are uniquely you, and your voice is important. If that importance is not recognized, you are not in the right room.
