Are You Confident? Who Cares!

1 min read

When I was being treated for Leukemia, did I want an Oncologist who was confident or competent?

Have you ever thought…..

I’ve lost my confidence?

She really shook my confidence?

I wish I was more confident?

If I was, things would be better.

I hear this from clients no matter where they are on the career spectrum.

The right amount of confidence is that which aligns with your actual competence, according to a Harvard Business Review article titled, ‘7 Pieces of Bad Career Advice Women Should Ignore.’ A must read for its spot-on frankness. It’s written by Cindy Gallop who is a joy and a pleasure to follow for her directness, no BS style, and her confidence which comes from a heaping amount of competence.
